Aromatherapy & Massage:

A relaxing massage of either the back, neck and shoulders, or the feet and legs will be provided, using a blend of essential oils specifically chosen to treat your individual conditions and preferences. This oil blend will be given to you to take home at the end of your treatment, to be used in massage or the bath at home.

Acupuncture/acupressure:

A thorough consultation will be carried out, then a selection of needles will be inserted into suitable points on the body, based on complaints to be treated and personal preferences. These will remain in for 20-45 minutes whilst you relax.

Specialised Acupuncture :

Specialised Acupuncture sessions can also be offered for the more complex areas of pre-conception care, menstrual cycle regulation, natural fertility support, and cases of threatened miscarriage. These will include an in-depth consultation around cycle/fertility history, lifestyle and diet, and a individually tailored series of treatments, including support to complete a cycle/fertility diary. A longer initial appointment would be advised, followed by weekly appointments throughout a menstrual cycle, or until threat of miscarriage has passed.

  • Initial consultation and treatment – 1.5 hours, £75

Moxibustion for Breech:

Suitable from 35 weeks gestation, I will teach your partner how to carry out the treatment, and provide you with a supply of the Moxa sticks to continue the treatment at home.

Following a discussion between the two of us, one of 3 relaxation scripts will be chosen to best suit your situation, and can be carried out in person, or online via Teams/Zoom if preferred.

Birth preparation:

A combination of treatments designed to relax and prepare you, body and mind, for upcoming labour and birth. I will tailor a session specifically for your needs, using your choice of aromatherapy, massage, acupressure, or acupuncture. Suitable from 37 weeks of pregnancy.

Postdates Pregnancy:

If you have passed your due date or keen to avoid medical induction of labour, this combination treatment is perfect to encourage labour to start naturally. Combining therapies such as aromatherapy, acupuncture and acupressure, I will work with you to stimulate the hormones your body needs to begin the labour process. These sessions can be repeated as needed, and can be used in conjunction with membrane sweeps offered by your community midwife.

Package of 3 sessions:

A package of any three of the above treatments (excluding complex acupuncture), to be used at any stage of pregnancy, to help give you the relaxation and rejuvenation that your body and mind needs during the intense process of growing and birthing a baby! If your baby arrives before you have used all 3 sessions, the remaining ones used at any point up to 12 weeks postnatal, to help with any issues you may be experiencing  such as difficulty sleeping, breastfeeding problems, or pure relaxation.
